The OMRON M6 Comfort AFib blood pressure monitor is an electronic medical device for the automatic measurement of blood pressure and pulse on the arm. It incorporates a technology for detecting possible atrial fibrillation (AFib) with each measurement, as well as irregular heartbeats.

How to use
Rest for 5 minutes before measuring: sit with your back supported, feet flat on the floor and legs uncrossed, and rest your arm on a table so the cuff is level with your heart. Fit the Intelli Wrap cuff on your bare upper arm — thanks to its 360° accuracy it can be positioned anywhere around the arm, with no need to align it with the artery — and secure it snugly about 1–2 cm above the elbow. Press START and stay still and silent throughout the measurement. For the most reliable result, use TrueRead mode (3 measurements) and measure at the same time each day.

Read carefully before use. This device is a measurement aid, not a diagnostic tool. Never diagnose yourself or change any medication on your own based on the readings — always discuss the results with a doctor. The AFib indicator is a screening prompt for possible atrial fibrillation, not a diagnosis. Consult your doctor before use if you have an arrhythmia, are pregnant, or wear an implanted electronic device (for example a pacemaker) — the readings may be less reliable. Use only the supplied OMRON Intelli Wrap cuff, for an arm circumference of 22 to 42 cm; do not place the cuff over a wound, on the side of a mastectomy, or over a dialysis shunt. Keep the unit, cuff tube and batteries out of reach of children — risk of strangulation and choking. Remove the batteries if the device will not be used for a long period.
